The MRN-W10S4-IB-LB is optimized for infinite-baffle marine installations, using the open space behind the mounting panel instead of requiring a separate enclosure. This preserves valuable onboard storage and keeps installation simpler by eliminating the added cost, construction, and enclosure calculations of a traditional subwoofer box. Its compact 10-inch format also helps fit more installation locations. It can also be used in a properly engineered sealed enclosure. Ported enclosures are not recommended.
