Alpine’s new ProLink™ technology was designed as an approachable and flexible upgrade path for the customer who has a single subwoofer but craves more bass in their sound system. While the previous option was to throw out the single enclosure and purchase a new dual enclosure, Alpine came up with a design that allows the customer to build on to their existing bass. 

 

With Alpine’s new ProLink™ technology, the customer can link two single enclosures together using an optional Linking Kit (sold separately) to create a dual subwoofer enclosure. Unique to Alpine, this design gives the customer the flexibility in power and price to use a single subwoofer or add another subwoofer when more bass is desired.

The Alpine Halo platform has a unique design that’s known in the industry for sleek, tapered lines and a clean silver finish that modernizes the look and feel of any vehicle.

 

Taking cues from this groundbreaking design, the Alpine Halo Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosures with ProLink™ feature the same unique, curved edges, outlined by silver trim. This matching look creates a new Alpine Halo Design Identity and allows the customer to purchase a complete display and sound system that elevates the interior of the vehicle.

 

As most preloaded subwoofer enclosures are similar in design and function, it can be difficult to find a uniquely designed enclosure that also optimizes your sound system’s performance. The Alpine Halo Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosures with ProLink™ are built for function and form.

 

The ported enclosure design features an optimized vent and rounded internal port edges that maximize the output performance of the subwoofer. The result is a higher total sound output for deep, powerful bass, reliable sound reproduction, and overall great sound quality.

 

Made from ¾-inch medium density fiberboard (MDF), the enclosures are built with sturdy, wooden, internal edge bracing around the corners of the enclosure for a system that’s built for reliable performance.  Covered with a rugged, yet stylish black carpet cover, brush aluminum finish on the front baffle and finished with the Halo-inspired Silver trim, the subwoofers offer a custom look without the custom work.

 

The Alpine Halo Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosures with ProLink™ come preloaded with an S-Series or R-Series 10-inch or 12-inch option which compliments each family’s complete sound system offerings.

 

The S-Series Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosures give the customer the best in performance value. With a preloaded S-Series subwoofer, the enclosures are tuned for optimized performance with Alpine’s S-Series speakers and are compatible with the S-A60M Mono Power Amplifier.

 

The R-Series Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosures are for the customer that’s looking for a loud and fun performance. The preloaded R-Series subwoofer is tuned to perform well alongside Alpine’s R-Series speakers and is compatible with the R-A75M Mono Power Amplifier.

 

The Alpine Halo Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosures are now shipping in both a 10-inch and 12-inch S and R-Series option with an optional Linking Kit and will be available at Alpine Authorized retailers or online at www.alpine-usa.com through Crutchfield.
