Alpine Electronics Introduces Two New In-Vehicle Camera Systems

Torrance, Calif. (Jan. 5, 2017) – Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. unveiled two new camera systems at the 2017 International CES being held Jan. 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The new models join Alpine’s established lineup of drive assist cameras.

“Drive assist products represent an important segment of Alpine’s core technologies, and we are dedicated to offering a variety of camera systems that meet various needs and budgets,” said Steve Crawford, vice president and general manager, aftermarket business unit, Alpine Electronics of America, Inc.

The new HCE-C114 rear view camera system offers color image reproduction and has a LUX (luminance emittance) range of 1.5-100,000, delivering improved picture performance in low-light conditions. It comes with a 23-ft RCA cable, for easier installation in large vehicles. The HCE-C257FD front view camera system has color image reproduction and is designed for use with Alpine in-dash AVN/AV systems. It features three viewing modes (ground, panorama, corner), so drivers can choose the mode needed for specific situations. Both cameras are compatible with the KTX-C10LP license plate frame kit, for easy installation on the vehicle’s back and/or front bumper.

Compatible Alpine Restyle or universal AVN/AV systems can use the optional KCX-C250MC Multi-Camera Selector Interface (sold separately) to manage multiple Alpine camera systems. The KCX-C250MC allows up to three camera systems (rear, front, side) to be controlled from the screen for one-touch viewing of the camera images.
