Once the Alpine DPR-RDS1 is installed, tune to a preset station, and you’ll be able to play your iPod or iPhone music through your vehicle speakers. All playback controls such as searching or selecting a song will still need to be done through the iPod or Phone itself, but you are able to control your volume from the factory radio.
